If you wanted to, you could put the Jester in position 3, so that you can make use of Harvest/Slice Off, which is really good DPS in the Weald/Warrens. Not to mention that they each pretty much carry an extra torch (Bulwark of Faith's +20 torchlight) in every single battle. You've also got that sweet stress heal from Inspiring Cry for both Crusaders, just incase your Jester can't heal enough stress to all party members.
